Things that are ugly, or ugliness

Let us begin with a simple definition of ugly: anything that is mainly unappealing, unpleasant or repulsive, especially in appearance.  Generally, people tend to avoid things that are deemed ugly, and will go to extents of shunning, shaming, and ignoring things labeled as such.  People sometimes will be horrified from looking at things that are very ugly, because they cannot understand what they are viewing.  This can be seen in a great deal of movies, shows, and even in the media today.  For example, the monsters and creatures the survivors on The Walking Dead must face are extremely terrifying and creepy to fathom and frequently cause panic and a sense of alarm among the audience.  I think the horrors of the undead are truly ugly.  These corpses should be resting in peace, but they continue to roam and wreak havoc across the Earth in this show.
